This pen is based off of the Dolce Piston or Medium pen. The medium pen has uses a CC filler or Cartridge. Piston uses a Piston filler.
Both have gold vermeil trim and has a 14k nib. The Medium is nice if you prefer to have a more flush looking pen, but dont mind a CC filler.

The new member of the Dolcevita family of writing instruments is a tribute to the American Abstract Expressionist artists of the mid-20th century. Using traditional methods, the barrels are hand-turned from solid rods of the unique multi-colored resin that recalls the drip painting technique no two are exactly alike! Each Gallery pen is enriched with a hand-cast vermeil accent band and 24K gold plated rolling-ring clip and trim. The Gallery fountain pen offers a 14K gold nib and comes in two models: the oversize piston-filler and the medium-size that uses cartridges or converter.
